Voice Stress Tests Law and Legal Definition
The voice stress evaluation test is based on the theory that an individual will undergo certain physiological changes when s/he is not telling the truth, and that these changes can be monitored and interpreted by using a voice stress evaluator machine. Tests results from a voice stress evaluation are generally inadmissible in criminal and civil proceedings.
