Voluntary Repayment Agreement Law and Legal Definition
According to 31 CFR 29.502 [Title 31 -- Money and Finance: Treasury; Subtitle A -- Office of the Secretary of the Treasury; Part 29 -- Federal Benefit Payments Under Certain District of Columbia Retirement Programs; Subpart E -- Debt Collection and Waivers of Collection], voluntary repayment agreement means “an agreement wherein the debtor makes installment payments to repay an overpayment debt in accordance with a repayment schedule agreed to by the Benefits Administrator or the Department.”
