Wage and Price Controls is the system of government mandated maximum prices that can be charged for various goods and services, or the wages that can be paid to different workers engaged in various jobs. It refers to the measures taken by a government under its incomes policy to control wages in an attempt to check cost push inflation and wage push inflation.
