Waiver of Notice of Dishonor Law and Legal Definition
Waiver of notice of dishonor refers to the relinquishment by an indorser of a negotiable instrument, either before or after the time for giving notice has arrived, of his right to be notified of the dishonor of the instrument. It may be oral or written, or express or implied. The party entitled to notice may waive it by waiver embodied in the instrument or in his indorsement, or by word or deed, before or after time for giving notice.
