Waterborne Activity Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 50 CFR 17.102 [Title 50 -- Wildlife and Fisheries, Chapter I -- United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of The Interior], the term waterborne activity includes, but is not limited to, “swimming, diving (including skin and scuba diving), snorkeling, water skiing, surfing, fishing, the use of water vehicles, and dredging and filling operations.”
