Weather Permit Call Law and Legal Definition
Weather Permit Call is an option a movie production can exercise. The call can release an actor four hours after the call time, if the shoot did not begin due to bad or unsuitable weather. An actor will be given a reduced rate of pay for the day. The reduced rate will be usually half day’s pay. The paid time can be utilized by the producer for rehearsals, but it will not be photographed. A weather permit call can be made only by a producer.
