Well Child Care Law and Legal Definition
Well child care, also called as ‘well baby’, refers to the preventive care services provided to children up to an age specified by a health insurance company or mandated by a government agency. Preventive service offered under well child care includes periodic check ups, immunizations, and vaccinations. Well-baby care services are provided under HMO and POS plans. However a PPO or fee-for-service plan offers only limited coverage for these services.
