White House Law and Legal Definition
White house is the building in Washington D.C., where the President to the USA lives and works. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. All U.S. President since John Adams have lived in the White House. The term shall also be used to mean the President himself, or the U.S. government. The White House Complex includes the Executive Residence, West Wing, Cabinet Room, Roosevelt Room, East Wing, and the Old Executive Office Building, which houses the executive offices of the President and Vice President.
