White Slave Law and Legal Definition
White slave is a woman sold for prostitution. The term describes a woman who is unwillingly held for purpose of prostitution. It does not denote the race of such a woman. A woman of any race held unwillingly as a prostitute can be called white slave. The term white slave was used to distinguish prostitutes from other slaves. White slavery also forms a part of international human trafficking.
