Whitelist Law and Legal Definition
Whitelist means a list or register containing details of entities that are given a particular privilege, access, service, mobility and recognition for some reason. It means a list or collection of people or entities that are known, trusted, admitted and absolutely recognized. It is the opposite of black list, which is a list that identifies entities that are denied, unrecognized, or ostracized.
Whitelist also refers to a list of e-mail addresses or domain names that are explicitly enabled to get past strict anti-spam filters.
