Wilderness Units Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 50 CFR 35.1 [Title 50 -- Wildlife and Fisheries, Chapter I -- United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of The Interior], the term wilderness units shall mean “areas in the National Wildlife Refuge System that have been designated by Act of Congress as units of the National Wilderness Preservation System.”
