Without Notice Application Law and Legal Definition
Without notice application refers to a civil procedure by which one party may apply for an order of court to be made without providing a notice to the other party. For example, when a claimant wants to freeze or attach the bank account of the defendant, s/he approaches the court to do so without a notice to the opposite party. When a notice is given to the other party, s/he will get an opportunity to avoid judicial initiations.
