Worker’s Compensation subrogation lien is a statutory lien asserted by a healthcare provider. The purpose of this lien is to recover the costs of emergency and ongoing medical and other services. This lien is asserted by a worker’s compensation insurance carrier, against an insured worker’s recovery from a third party tort-feasor in order to recover benefits paid to the injured worker. This is also termed as worker’s compensation lien.
