World Wildlife Fund [WWF] Law and Legal Definition
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is an international organization working for the conservation of nature. WWF is the world’s largest independent conservation organization. It promotes activities related to the conservation, research and restoration of the environment.
Using innovative and scientific methods, it halts events or activities that are a threat to our nature. WWF aims to preserve the life on Earth and the ecological system by:
protecting wild life. It protects natural areas and wild populations of plants and animals. Also supports projects for saving/conserving endangered species;
promoting sustainable approaches to the use of renewable natural resources;
promoting more efficient use of resources and energy; and
reducing pollution.
