Y2K Warranty Law and Legal Definition
Y2K Warranty is a warranty granted to software, hardware, or a product with computer software and hardware components, to ensure that they will function properly on and after January 1, 2000. Y2K warranty is used as an abbreviation to the term year 2000 warranty. The warranty only warrants that the software has passed the Y2K test, and does not warrant that the test has any relationship to the actual operation of the software.
