Yellow Sheets Law and Legal Definition
Yellow Sheet is a listing of corporate bonds traded in the OTC (over the counter) market, showing the market makers and their quotes. It is published by the National Quotation Bureau, a privately owned centralized electronic and printed quotation service for corporate, convertible, high-yield, and foreign bonds. Yellow Sheets derives its name from the yellow paper on which taxable debt quotations are distributed. Corporate bond quotes are distributed on the Yellow Sheets, while stock quotes appear on the Pink Sheets.
