Yurok Tribe Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 25 USCS § 1300i (b) (16) [Title 25. Indians; Chapter 14. Miscellaneous; Hoopa-Yurok Settlement], the term Yurok Tribe means “the Indian tribe which is recognized and authorized to be organized pursuant to section 9 of Hoopa-Yurok Settlement Act [25 USCS § 1300i-8].”
