Hearsay Law & Legal Definition
Hearsay is defined as "a statement, other than one made by the declarant while testifying at the trial or hearing, offered in evidence to prove the truth of the matter asserted." United States v. Presley, 2009 U.S. App. LEXIS 22655 (6th Cir. Mich. 2009)
