National Security Decision Directive Law and Legal Definition
National Security Decision Directive (NSDD) is a written order from the President of the U.S. It is a form of an executive order issued by the President of the U.S. with the advice and consent of the National Security Council. By NSDD, President gives instructions to senior advisers and departments concerning foreign policy matters.
