30-Year Contract [Agriculture] Law and Legal Definition
According to 7 CFR 625.2 [Title 7 – Agriculture; Subtitle B Regulations of the Department of Agriculture; Chapter VI Natural Resources Conservation Service, Department of Agriculture; Subchapter C Water Resources; Part 625 Healthy Forests Reserve Program], 30-year Contract means “a contract that is limited to acreage owned by Indian tribes. The 30-year contract is not eligible for use on tribal lands held in trust or subject to Federal restrictions against alienation.”
