General Agency Law and Legal Definition
General agency means an agency in which the agent is authorized to perform any action connected with a particular trade, business, or employment, without restriction. Here the agent’s authority is limited to particular business of the principal and the agent can bind principal for the transaction. It is also termed as universal agency.
