Good Till Canceled Order Law and Legal Definition
Good Till Canceled Order (GTC) is an order either to buy or to sell a security which is valid until cancelled by the customer or until it is executed by the broker. Unless specified GTC, unfilled orders expire at the end of the trading day. It is also called open order.
