Government Dam Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 16 USCS § 796 (10), [Title 16. Conservation; Chapter 12. Federal Regulation and Development of Power; Regulation of the Development of Water Power and Resources] the term Government dam means “a dam or other work constructed or owned by the United States for Government purposes with or without contribution from others.”
