Grant Inquest Law and Legal Definition
Grant inquest refers to a legal proceeding of impeachment. In England the term grant inquest was used to refer to the survey of lands from 1085 to1086 pursuant to the order of William the Conqueror. It is also called as great inquest, grand survey, and great survey.
