Great Lakes Basin Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 16 USCS § 941b (3), [Title 16. Conservation; Chapter 15B. Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Restoration] the term Great Lakes Basin means “the air, land, water, and living organisms within the drainage basin of the Saint Lawrence River at or upstream from the point at which the river becomes the international boundary between Canada and the United States.”
