Green Card Renewal is a matter of great concern. Green Card holders with expired Green Cards shall be considered "out of status" and shall be denied entry into the United States if their green card is out of date. Therefore, it is important to keep the proof of permanent resident status current and valid. If the Green Card was issued before 10 years, one should check the expiration date printed on the front of the card. If the Green Card is expired, or if it is about to expire, then the Green Card should be renewed immediately.
