Green party or ecologist party is a formally organized international environmentalist political party. It is based on the principles of Green politics. It encourages wealth sharing, energy conservation, an end to nuclear power, tough environmental standards, social responsibility, and decentralization of government. The Green Party of the United States (GPUS) is a voluntary association of state green parties.
