Guideline Conforming Sentence Law and Legal Definition
A guideline-conforming sentence is defined as one within "the applicable guideline range, it must be the case that the applicable guideline range is the product of conforming to the Guidelines' instructions. A sentence conforms with the guidelines for imprisonment if it is within the minimum and maximum terms of the applicable guideline range." [United States v.
