Habili modo is a Latin word which means in a fit manner or sufficiently. It means that the evidence will be heard in the manner that is suitable to the circumstances of the case. For example, to prove the existence of a trust the evidence will be heard either by taking oath or by writ of trustee, after taking into consideration the appropriate circumstances.
