Habitat means a specific place or natural environment in which a plant, animal, or any other organism lives/grows. It is a specific set of environmental conditions best suited for a species. It is an ecological or environmental area that surrounds, influences, or utilized by a species population. Habitat simply means home, it is the place which is special to, and is best suited for a particular species.
Habitat conservation is very important to preserve the biodiversity. Legal actions may be taken against persons destructing wildlife habitats.
