Hazardous Waste Discharge Law and Legal Definition
According to 40 CFR 260.10, [Title 40. Protection Of Environment; Chapter I Environmental Protection Agency; Subchapter I Solid Wastes; Part 260 Hazardous Waste Management System: General, Subpart B Definitions ], ‘discharge or hazardous waste discharge’ means “the accidental or intentional spilling, leaking, pumping, pouring, emitting, emptying, or dumping of hazardous waste into or on any land or water.”
