Hazardous Waste Treatment Law and Legal Definition
In relation to the Environmental Law, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act defines treatment as any method, process, or technique, including neutralization, designed to change the physical, chemical or biological character or composition of any hazardous waste in order to neutralize such waste or to render such waste non-hazardous, safer for transport, amenable for recovery, amenable for storage, or reduced in volume.
