According to 49 CFR 350.105 [Title 49 – Transportation; Subtitle B Other Regulations Relating to Transportation; Chapter III Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Department of Transportation; Subchapter B Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; Part 350 Commercial Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program; Subpart A – General], High Priority Activity Funds means “funds provided for carrying out high-priority activities and projects that improve CMV (commercial motor vehicle) safety and compliance with CMV safety regulations (including activities and projects that are national in scope), increase public awareness and education, demonstrate new technologies, and reduce the number and rate of accidents involving CMVs.”
