Historic Conservation District Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 16 USCS § 470w (10), [Title 16. Conservation; Chapter 1A. Historic Sites, Buildings, Objects, and Antiquities; National Historic Preservation; General and Miscellaneous] the term historic conservation district means “an area which contains (A) historic properties, (B) buildings having similar or related architectural characteristics, (C) cultural cohesiveness, or (D) any combination of the foregoing.”
