Historically Black College Or University Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 12511 (Title 42, The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 129, National and Community Service; National and Community Service Grant Program; General Provisions), the term "historically black college or university" means “a part B institution, as defined in section 322 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1061).”
