Historically Underserved Producer [Agriculture] Law and Legal Definition
According to 7 CFR 636.3 [Title 7—Agriculture; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Department o Agriculture; Chapter VI-- Natural Resources Conservation Service, Department o Agriculture; Subchapter D -- Long Term Contracting; Part 636 -- Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program], Historically Underserved Producer means “an eligible person, joint operation, or legal entity that is a beginning farmer or rancher, socially disadvantaged farmer or rancher, or limited resource farmer or rancher.”
