Historically Underutilized Business Zone Law and Legal Definition
According to 15 USCS § 632 (p)(1) [Title 15. Commerce and Trade; Chapter 14A. Aid to Small Business], the term “historically underutilized business zone” means “any area located within 1 or more
(A) qualified census tracts;
(B) qualified nonmetropolitan counties;
(C) lands within the external boundaries of an Indian reservation;
(D) redesignated areas; or
(E) base closure areas.
(2) HUBZone. The term "HUBZ1one" means a historically underutilized business zone.”
