Homeland Security Advisory Council [HSAC] Law and Legal Definition
Homeland Security Advisory Council or (HSAC) means an entity that provides advice and recommendations to the Secretary of Homeland Security on matters related to homeland security. HSAC is composed of leaders from state and local government, first-responder communities, the private sector, and academia. HSAC is part of the Executive Office of the President and was created by an Executive Order on March 19, 2002.
