Hoopa Indian Blood Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 25 USCS § 1300i (b) (2) [Title 25. Indians; Chapter 14. Miscellaneous; Hoopa-Yurok Settlement], the term Hoopa Indian blood means “that degree of ancestry derived from an Indian of the Hunstang, Hupa, Miskut, Redwood, Saiaz, Sermalton, Tish-Tang-Atan, South Fork, or Grouse Creek Bands of Indians.”
