Horning Law and Legal Definition
Horning is an ancient practice under the Scotch law. [Borden v. State, 11 Ark. 519, 533 (Ark. 1851)]. Under such a practice, a debtor was summoned by the sounding of a horn to satisfy his obligation under pain of imprisonment for default.
