HUBZone Law and Legal Definition
According to 13 CFR 126.103 [Title 13 -- Business Credit and Assistance; Chapter I -- Small Business Administration; Part 126 – HUBzone Program; Subpart A -- Provisions of General Applicability], HUBZone means “a historically underutilized business zone, which is an area located within one or more:
(1) Qualified census tracts;
(2) Qualified non-metropolitan counties;
(3) Lands within the external boundaries of an Indian reservation;
(4) Qualified base closure area; or
(5) Redesignated area.”
