Human Rights Systems Law and Legal Definition
The term human rights system refers to a system in which the human rights laws, courts, investigatory bodies and other organizations established at the national, regional and international levels for the promotion and protection of human rights are grouped differently. Apart from the common enforcement mechanisms the human rights system also provides other appropriate mechanisms such as court-like complaint procedures and audit-like monitoring and reporting procedures.
