In-Kind Income Law and Legal Definition
In-Kind Income is the shelter or food provided to an SSI recipient. The value of such things are considered income. An SSI recipient’s monthly grant is reduced dollar for dollar by the total value of the in-kind support and maintenance received in a month, up to a certain amount.
