Inactive Judgment Law and Legal Definition
An inactive judgment is one that hasn't had it's terms fulfilled by the unsuccessful party. In many cases, it means that the losing party hasn't paid the ordered amount to the winning party. Sometimes it also refers to a judgment which is expired because the time under the statute of limitations for collecting a judgment has passed.
