Inappropriate marital conduct is a ground for divorce in some states. Such conduct has been construed by the courts to mean a number of things. Generally, it means conduct that makes living together unacceptable.
It may consist of, among others, the following:1. Cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct towards the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe and improper.
2. Engaging in an extra-marital relationship.
3. Abusive language.
4. Sexual misconduct.
