Inchoate Curtesy Law and Legal Definition
Inchoate curtesy is the right of the husband similar to the inchoate right of dower of the wife. It is an imperfected interest which the law gives a husband in the lands of his wife. Such right becomes perfected upon the death of the wife and may result in possession and use.
