Indian Area Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 25 USCS § 4103 (11) [Title 25. Indians; Chapter 43. Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination], the term Indian area means “the area within which an Indian tribe or a tribally designated housing entity, as authorized by 1 or more Indian tribes, provides assistance under this Act for affordable housing.”
