Indian Student Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 25 USCS § 1801 (7) [Title 25. Indians; Chapter 20. Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities Assistance], the term Indian student means “a student who is--
(A) a member of an Indian tribe; or
(B) a biological child of a member of an Indian tribe, living or deceased.”
