Indigenous Inhabitant Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 50 CFR 92.4 [Title 50 -- Wildlife and Fisheries, Chapter I -- United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of The Interior], the term indigenous inhabitant means “a permanent resident of a village within a subsistence harvest area, regardless of race.”
