Inpatient critical access hospital services refer to the inpatient medical and other health services provided by a critical access hospital.
The term "inpatient critical access hospital services" is defined under 42 USCS § 1395x(mm)(2) as items and services, furnished to an inpatient of a critical access hospital by such facility, that would be inpatient hospital services if furnished to an inpatient of a hospital by a hospital.
